Welcome to the Pleasant Shade Missionary Baptist Church Website! If you are in our area, we invite you to become a part of the Shade Church family, to use your gifts and be nurtured by us into a deeper journey of faith.

Pleasant Shade Missionary Baptist Church is a Christian church that believes in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, the present power of the Holy Spirit, water baptism by immersion ( to be dipped under ) and the Lord's Supper. We believe in the spoken Word as contained in the Holy Bible and encourage the church family regularly to read and be engaged in structural Bible Study through the church's educational ministry.

Our goal is to equip saints to become an effective witness leading others to Christ. Pleasant Shade Missionary Baptist Church has at least fifteen ministries and opportunities that serve the community and the church. Prayerfully seek God's Will for your involvement and then be boldly led by the Spirit of Christ doing His Will through involvement in one of these ministries.

As Christians we are the people of God, called together to be the Body of Christ, inspired by the Holy Spirit to proclaim God's will, to love one another, and to be instruments of salvation, preaching, teaching, worshiping, caring, sharing, growing and giving service through community outreach.
