A Rich Heritage

The Pleasant Shade Missionary Baptist Church was established in 1907. It was located on the Lucas Fleming Farm. The first building used for worship was a one room structure divided by on partition to create a special area of authority for the pastors. In 1927, the church was moved to a wood building at its present location. For a complete history of this great church, click here.
